Portal ma charakter niekomercyjny, edukacyjny i misyjny. Działalność redakcji opiera się na wolontariacie i pasji do fotografii, dziennikarstwa i reportażu. Nie publikujemy reklam, nie prowadzimy działalności sprzedażowej ani nie pobieramy opłat za dostęp do treści.
Redakcja działa w oparciu o konstytucyjną wolność słowa oraz wolność prasy:
- Konstytucja RP: Art. 54 (Wolność słowa i mediów) oraz Art. 14 (Wolność prasy).
- Ustawa Prawo Prasowe: Art. 1 (Dostęp obywateli do informacji) oraz Art. 10 (Zadania dziennikarza).
- Unia Europejska: Art. 11 Karty Praw Podstawowych UE (Wolność wypowiedzi i informacji).
Materiały gromadzone przez reporterów portalu służą w celach informacyjnym, dokumentalnym i budowaniu portfolio młodych twórców w duchu otwartego dostępu do informacji. Działalność ma charakter niezarobkowy (Non-profit).
